Delete My Data

You have the right to have your data deleted at any time (Art. 32 para. 2 lit. c of the Swiss FADP; for users in the EEA additionally Art. 17 GDPR). Quitso is built so you can do almost all of it yourself — no request form, no waiting.

What you can delete directly in the app

• Delete a group with all its data: Any group member can permanently delete the group. This removes the group name, all person names and every expense and payment from the database — for all members.
• Delete individual entries: Every expense and payment can be deleted individually.
• Leave a group: Long-press the group in the overview and leave it. You will no longer have access to its data.
• Push notifications: Turn them off in Settings — no device token is processed afterwards.
• Delete the app: Removes all data stored locally on your device, including the anonymous identifier.

Deletion on request

If you would like us to delete data for you — for example a group you no longer have access to — email support@quitso.com. Please include the group name or invite code if possible so we can locate the data. We handle deletion requests without undue delay.

Website cookie preference

Your cookie-banner choice lives locally in your browser (change it via "Cookie settings" in the footer, or remove it by clearing your browser data). The anonymous log entry in our database contains no link to your person; we will delete it on request anyway — email us your consent ID shown in the cookie settings.

Anonymous statistics

Quitso records anonymous usage statistics without names, amounts or group data. These events contain no link to your person and therefore cannot be attributed to anyone or deleted individually.

What doesn't exist

Quitso has no accounts and no profiles — so there is nothing else to delete. See the Privacy Policy for details.
